Build own website suggests keyword research to optimize your website.

Ever sat back and wondered how you could easily build your own blog or website that gets buying traffic?

Create your blog or landing page around a well researched keyword, the keyword should have the following criteria to work best,

A Minimum of 2000 searches and less than 30,000 competing sites,

You can spend hours researching yourself (nothing wrong with that, as you get more ideas and more great keywords).

Google Keyword Tool External

We are Using “keywords” As our keyword research word,(you use your relevant keyword, like “dogs” if this is your niche or “Tenterfield dogs” etc.

The Results were 1,500,000 for the keyword “keywords”, when we searched with the Google keyword external tool, We are seeking above 2000 searches (so this is well above our target).

Then we Search Google for your keyword that you are researching (In this example we are using “keywords”), but remember you are using your own niche word.

When searching your “Keywords” ensure you include ” ” to narrow your search to the particular keyword for the competing site data, otherwise the results will come back with suggested sites as well and not give true data we are seeking.

e.g.: Google search results

“Keywords” 463,000,000 competing sites,(way over your 30,000) target.

WebHide optionsShow options… Results 1 – 10 of about 463,000,000 for keywords [definition]. (0.12 seconds)

This makes the keyword too competitive and you would need to narrow it down to a phrase, Using the

Google Keyword Tool External

When looking for alternates, we find in the Google keyword external tool the keyword “get keywords” has 2900 searches.

The Google search results are 35,000 competing sites, which is 5000 over our target but getting closer to what we are seeking for a profitable keyword.

Are you getting the gist? If not start again from the top.

Another example from Build own website, “keyword bidding” has 3600 searches on the Adwords keyword tool,

Results 1 – 10 of about 30,200 for ” keyword bidding” (0.18 seconds) on Google search( competing pages),

We would go with “keyword bidding” for our “keyword” rich website, landing page, blog etc designed around this keyword. (Obviously if it had relevance to our website). .

Just for your information,(Keyword bidding is related to price you are willing to pay per customer click on your ad campaign relating to affiliate sales impressions on advertising sites like Google Adwords).
